Why Steve Perry is God

I felt the need to share this with anyone who cares to read.

So I finally saw the video for Steve Perry's "Oh Sherrie" and I was no less than astounded. First of all, the video starts out as a faux-video of Steve as royalty from the Middle Ages getting married. He's frustrated and thinks the concept for the video is absurd; the director/his PR/etc. try and convince him how "heroic" it is. After a couple of takes, Steve rips off his costume to reveal tight jeans, a button down shirt, and HIGH TOPS. Yes, HIGH TOPS. The then sits on a flight of stairs and starts moaning the "Oh Sherrie" song. "Sherrie" (who, by the way, needs to eat a good meal) shows up wearing 80's Barbie workout clothes and he sings to her through the railing of the stairs. Meanwhile, the director/PR folks/etc. try and figure out where Steve is and why he thinks the video is a bad idea. Steve and "Sherrie" hug, etc.

Truly the greatest thing I've seen in years.

That is all.
